Bullieverse & OKX Blockdream Ventures AMA Recap
On Feb 23rd, the Chief Growth Officer of Bullieverse, Arun Krishnakumar, joined a live Ask Me Anything session on the official OKX Blockdream Ventures Telegram channel and answered questions from the group members.
The purpose of the event was to introduce Bullieverse to the OKX Blockdream Ventures Community.

Q1. Please introduce yourself — what is your role at Bullieverse?
Arun：A brief Intro: I started my career as an Engineer about 20 years ago. Pivoted it around in 2011 after a couple of business degrees from LSE and Oxford University. Founded and managed to VC funds over the last decade, over 5000 ventures reviewed and invested in 20 of them. I sit on the board of a few of them. Over the last 6 years, I have also taken up blogging and podcasting. I am also a published author in Blockchain and Quantum computing, and my second book (Restartup) that was published last year was about crisis management strategies for venture founders. I lead growth at Bullieverse. Hope that helps, and look forward to our session today.

Q2. Can you please give us a brief overview of what Bullieverse is?
Arun：At Bullieverse we are building an open world Metaverse on unreal engine where our community can create and play games to earn rewards and NFTs. We are a virtual marketplace for gamers and creators and offer utility to NFT communities.
In the past eight months, we have grown our team to 27 members and community to 150k+ on Telegram and Twitter. We sold our first NFT collection and raised $2 Million back in August, and have recently closed a seed and private round too.
Our first game, Bear hunt, Premiered on Monday the 7th of Feb. Mainnet live after the Token Launch in Mar 2022, which will be one of the first “play and earn” 3D unreal engine games.
Q3. There are several metaverse players out there, why is Bullieverse different?
Arun：We are different in so many ways! let me explain..
To start with, we are the first 3D game using Unreal Engine that has gone live in this space. How many other projects have a game live before token launch?
However, there are broader and strategic differences. We are not a one game pony — we are a gaming/metaverse marketplace which will support both gamers with an intention to play and earn, and enjoy the metaverse experience — but also, focus on creators who want to earn by creating games and ingame assets. We also emphasize on the gaming experience a lot more than other play to earn leaders do. Q4. Can you give us more detail of the team that is behind this project?
Arun：We have a 30+ membered team across the US, Europe and India. Across the management team, we have over 75 years of experience that spans across Blockchain, gaming, venture building, venture investing and strategy careers. The team are serial entrepreneurs in Blockchain, published authors, alums of Sony R&D, Goldman Sachs, PwC, and educated from IIT, Oxford University, and the London School of Economics
Q5. Who are your key investors and partners, and how are they helping
Arun：We are fortunate to have been backed by several top investors in the gaming/Web 3.0 space and they are helping us scale our partnerships as well. Okex Blockdream Ventures, Fundamental Labs, Genblock Capital, 6thMan Ventures, Spark Digital Capital, Rainmaker Games, Good Games Guild, Shima Capital, Mintable, LD Capital, Mask.Io, Formless Capital, DWeb3 are all investors we have announced so far.
Q6. What are your updates on Tokenlaunch and Fundraise?
Arun：The fundraise is complete — https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases/open-world-metaverse-platform-bullieverse-announces-4m-fundraiser. Our token launch is happening in early March — dates will be announced soon.
Q7. What is your roadmap for the next 12 months, and what do you need to achieve in the next 3 months?
Arun：Through the funding round we have just closed, we have secured enough runway to take us into 2023 comfortably and deliver our roadmap. We are all headsdown building the product, and community at this point. Therefore, our focus will be to deliver our roadmap that we published in our whitepaper. https://docs.bullieverse.com/white-paper/foreward/the-rise-of-metaverse. And we need to do that alongside building a superstar community. That is the focus for the next 12 months and we are extremely bullish about that.
We have quite a busy Q1 — Now that the funding rounds are largely done and the first game is released, we are now largely focused on growth and community engagement. Q1 will be filled with IDOs, Promo events, PR with top tier publications and most importantly community competitions and give aways. We are also working on a few for our NFT holders who have been very supportive through the last 6 months. We have a token launch later this quarter and the public launch of the Bear Hunt game soon after that. We are working on a Multi player Battle Royale type game that will be coming out next. Q8. Please explain what your NFT roadmap looks like, and how users can earn on your platform?
Arun：The genesis Bull NFTs that were minted in Aug 2021, will be the launchpad to gaining value and economic upside through the Bullieverse platform and games. However, in summary, Bull NFTs will allow you to do the following,
⁃ Play and Earn (you can’t earn on the platform without the Bull NFT)
⁃ Create and Earn (after we launch the creation engine)
⁃ Have early access to new NFT collections — Our Bear NFTs can only be minted by Bull NFT holders
⁃ We have a pipeline of new NFT collections through 2022, and Bull NFTs will let you access them.
⁃ Passive income through renting your NFT — more on that below.
⁃ Early access to Land and Game portal auction
We are going to be launching our NFT renting process round about the same time as Bear Hunt Public launch. This will allow our NFT holders to enjoy passive income. If they had the Bear NFT, they will be able to earn twice. We are introducing a different approach to renting which will be a lot more seamless and simpler for both the owner of the NFT and the gamer. Watch this space as we make announcements around the approach in our discord group closer to the time.
Q9. What are the tokens used on Bullieverse, and how do you plan to keep their value high?
Arun：We have two tokens, Bull and Shell. The utility of our Bull token is largely governance. We have a Shell token that is used as in game utility token. In terms of keeping the value high — I don’t think any crypto project can escape a fall in value if BTC goes to $20k. However, at Bullieverse, we have a strong team, a clear product roadmap, and the funds to keep working at it for the next couple of years at least. As we keep executing our roadmap, we will see value of the tokens and NFT floor price go up too. We rely on our execution skills to keep the price healthy.
Q10. How do you manage and build your community, and how can someone interested in the project participate in the community?
Arun：You can check the quality of our community in our socials (twitter, discord, tg). However, if you want to be part of our community more actively there are two things you can do.
1. Buy our Bull NFT as it is the gateway to the metaverse
2. Join our discord and engage in product testing, early access, competitions, polls and ‘talk to the founders’ events.
We have all our announcements, community competitions, give aways, early mint access, polls and AMAs on discord. We did our beta testing of the bear hunt game on discord with our community, which was immensely successful. It also makes the community feel that they are part of the product development and roll out as they continuously give us feedback.

Q1. What are your future goals in the next 5years? and what security measures have been provided to guarantee users from hackers?
Arun：The future goal is to ensure we create a sustainable and scalable gaming economy where gamers and creators can come and enjoy the experience and earn from the experience. We have completed our smart contract audit and we will provide more details before the Token launch.

Q3. Many of the existing games in today’s crypto space have high entry barriers and high entry fees, making them inaccessible to many Crypto Users. My question is, is it also necessary to pay an entry fee to access the game in “ Bullieverse “? If so, how simple is it to get into the game?
Arun：You can play and enjoy the game and the metaverse for FREE. However, if you want to earn, you can either rent or buy an NFT to play our game, win it and mint the Bear NFT. And, if you want to own a land or game portal, you will need an NFT as well. In short, you get what you put in — if you just want the experience, it can be free. But if you want a financial upside, you will need an NFT.
Q4. Does your tokens have farming and staking usages and if yes what APR do you give to us?Does Your project have farming and staking usages and if yes what APR do you give to us?
Arun：We will be launching staking of tokens and renting of NFTs very soon. It is very critical step in our roadmap. Please look for announcements in our discord.
Q5. How did you get all the community involved in developing of the project? And How Do you create a strong community to grow globally?.
Arun：There is no shortcut to creating a high quality community. We have been engaging with them on discord and twitter. We listen to them and get feedback regularly. We have events and competitions and AMAs. We will keep doing this consistently. Our early NFT backers have already got more than 2X of the mint value, and we are only just getting started. I am sure there is a lot of value we will create for our community in future
Q6. What is the most ambitious goal of your project? What is the ultimate vision that Your project is trying to achieve within the cryptocurrencies market? I would appreciate it if you could share with us any Upcoming Updates?
Arun：The most ambitious goals change often — when we started the first 3D game on Unreal engine was very ambitious — we did that in under 3 months. Now the next big one is the Battle Royale style multi player game — which will be amazing when it comes out. Our creation engine is another big milestone. But in the end, making sure our community stays happy, has huge financial upside and enjoy the metaverse and keep coming back is the bit we want to achieve.
Q7. Does Bullieverse support virtual reality (VR) glasses for the best player experience? Do you think Metaverse is still nothing special at the moment, it needs virtual reality devices and more advanced networking technology (at least 5G)?
Arun：Metaverse is special today because of Web 3 and NFT. You own your digital assets and can monetise it into real world money. Decentralisation allows community engagement and upliftment. However, VR will be essential to take the gaming experience to a different level. Therefore the answer is YES — it is on our roadmap! We will keep you posted on the VR topic in the near future.
Q8.What are plans in for a global expansion? Do you focusing on market at this time or focus on building & developing or getting customers & users, or partnerships???
Arun：Most Web 3 projects are global. Bits know no boundaries — however, we believe there are certain regions in the world like South East Asia that benefits more from our product than others. Therefore, our growth strategy will focus on these regions as priority. However, we will remain global in the grand scheme of things
Q9.why is your platform symbol a bull?
Arun：It is because we are gamifying the metaverse space and are bullish on the NFT and Metaverse revolution!
Q10. Is your projects only for English speaking countries Or for users not for others languages? And Do you have any Community for non English speaking users too?
Arun：Great question — we will support all languages. I have been on AMAs where my English responses have been translated by a translator to communicate with our community. However, to start with, we will focus our growth efforts on English speaking countries. However, all countries and language speaking enthusiasts are welcome at the Bullieverse
